Purpose

To provide exceptional, personalized experiences for Members undergoing surgery or navigating challenging life events—ensuring every touchpoint is handled with care, efficiency, and a spirit of “surprise and delight.”

Scope

As a Delight Coordinator, you will serve as both a Surgery Concierge and a Member Experience advocate. You'll be responsible for arranging high-quality surgical care and seamless travel experiences, while also collaborating with internal teams to deliver meaningful, compassionate gestures to Members facing hardships. This role is equal parts logistics wizard, empathetic problem solver, and experience curator.

This is a full-time remote position reporting to the Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

Surgery Concierge Services

  • Research and coordinate top-tier, cost-effective surgery centers based on medical needs and financial preferences
  • Arrange travel, lodging, and special accommodations for surgery patients
  • Deliver white-glove service throughout the patient journey, anticipating needs and offering thoughtful enhancements
  • Resolve logistical challenges quickly and calmly, ensuring a smooth process
  • Act as a consistent, caring point of contact for patients from start to finish
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with medical, hospitality, and transportation vendors

Member Experience & Support

  • Identify opportunities to “surprise and delight” Members during illness, hardship, or life transitions
  • Coordinate special gestures such as food deliveries, home services, or custom care packages
  • Source vendors and services that bring relief, comfort, or joy to Members in need
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and thoughtful execution of support initiatives
  • Apply creativity, empathy, and resourcefulness to each unique Member scenario

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning, travel coordination, hospitality, or patient navigation
  • Background in medical tourism, concierge medicine, or luxury customer service
  • Understanding of cash-pay or insurance-free healthcare models

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 per year
