About CrowdHealth

The health insurance system is broken. Badly. CrowdHealth is building something better. We help people pay for healthcare through a community-powered model that is more affordable, transparent, and human than traditional insurance.

Word is spreading fast. We’re 35,000 members strong and growing quickly.

About the Role

CrowHealth’s primary growth channel is word-of-mouth referrals from existing members, and, influencer partners. We are doubling down on this strategy with a new program called CrowdHealth Crew.

Crew is one of the company’s highest priorities and this role will run it.

We are looking for a hands-on growth marketer to build and scale Crew by recruiting the right partners and advocates, giving them compelling reasons and tools to share CrowdHealth, and turning authentic relationships into measurable member growth.

This is not an entry-level community management role. The right person has already built a successful affiliate, influencer, or customer referral program for a direct-to-consumer brand and knows how to take a program from idea to repeatable, scalable growth channel.

What You’ll Do:

You will own the strategy, launch, and day-to-day management of CrowdHealth's influencer, and member referral programs.

  • Recruit high-quality creators, partners, and CrowdHealth members who can authentically introduce the brand to their audiences and networks.
  • Build strong, personal relationships with participants and keep them engaged through campaigns, communication, recognition, and ongoing support.
  • Create simple onboarding, messaging, creative assets, content ideas, and campaign briefs that make CrowdHealth easy to understand and share.
  • Help creators and members develop authentic content that fits their voice while staying accurate and on-brand.
  • Design offers, incentives, and activation campaigns that increase participation, referrals, and new-member acquisition.
  • Track the full funnel, including recruitment, activation, content, traffic, referrals, conversions, acquisition cost, and program ROI.
  • Test, learn, and improve the program based on performance data and participant feedback.
  • Partner with brand, growth, product, member experience, legal, and compliance teams to ensure claims and content meet applicable standards.
  • Build lightweight systems and processes that allow the programs to scale without losing their personal feel.

What we’re looking for:

  • A demonstrated track record of building and scaling a successful affiliate, influencer, ambassador, or customer referral program for a direct-to-consumer brand.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, including attribution, conversion, customer acquisition cost, and ROI.
  • Experience recruiting and managing creators, affiliates, customers, or brand advocates.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills. You are warm, persuasive, responsive, and comfortable starting conversations with people you do not know.
  • Strong writing and communication skills across email, phone, Zoom, DMs, Slack, and social media.
  • Working knowledge of major social platforms and the content that performs on each.
  • Highly organized and able to manage many relationships, campaigns, deadlines, and follow-ups at once.
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-moving growth company with no established playbook.
  • Good judgment around brand messaging, health claims, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for CrowdHealth's mission and the ability to make others excited about it.

What Success Looks Like

  • Influencer, and member referral programs become scalable, measurable sources of new members.
  • The number of active partners and advocates grows, along with the quality and consistency of their content and referrals.
  • Participants feel personally connected to CrowdHealth and have the tools, ideas, and support to succeed.
  • The team has clear visibility into program performance, economics, and the highest-leverage opportunities for growth.
  • CrowdHealth earns a steady stream of credible, compliant member stories and creator content.

Why CrowdHealth:

  • Help transform healthcare for thousands of members.
  • Work on a meaningful problem with a mission-driven team.
  • High ownership and visibility across the organization.
  • Opportunity to build a major growth channel from the ground up.
  • Full time salary of $110k - $150k + equity
  • Health support stipend aligned with our mission.
  • Fully remote with normal business hours.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, and a 401(k).
