About Us

We are dedicated to helping uninsured and self-pay patients by negotiating medical bills on their behalf. Through a structured process of investigation, fair price determination, and negotiation, we advocate for patients by leveraging billing expertise, price transparency data, and legal advocacy pathways. Our mission is to ensure patients are treated fairly, free from unjust or inflated medical debt.

Position Overview

The Paralegal strengthens our ability to advocate for patients by bringing legal research, issue spotting, and escalation support into the medical bill negotiation process.

This individual will research federal and state laws affecting medical billing, collections, consumer debt, credit reporting, financial assistance, and patient rights; help our team understand how those laws apply to individual cases; and identify legal or regulatory leverage that may help move difficult negotiations toward resolution.

When a case requires legal representation beyond our company’s scope, the Paralegal will help identify appropriate attorneys in the patient's geographic area, facilitate the connection, and serve as a liaison between the patient, outside counsel, and our company as appropriate.

The Paralegal will work closely with Patient Advocates and leadership to translate legal research and analysis into actionable strategies that strengthen patient advocacy and advance difficult cases toward resolution.
