Andy founded CrowdHealth after his own frustrating experience with the insurance system. When his daughter needed a procedure for recurring ear infections and a ruptured eardrum, his insurance company refused to pay the $8,000 bill — calling it "medically unnecessary." Despite doing everything right, the system left his family high and dry when they needed it most.
That moment sparked a mission: build a more compassionate, reliable alternative to traditional health insurance. At CrowdHealth, members are treated like family — not policy numbers.
